The Hawker

The Hawker is named after the 19th Century sportsman and author Colonel Peter Hawker thought by many as the father of wild-fowling. He also displayed great knowledge and success as a game shot, and his hugely popular book ‘Instructions to Young Sportsmen’ was unrivalled for fifty years as a manual on guns and shooting.

The Chantrey

The Chantrey is named after the sculptor Sir Francis Chantrey who is purported to have shot a pair of woodcock with a single shot at Holkham on the 20th November, 1829 – an achievement somewhat heightened by the fact that he only had one arm and reportedly one good eye…

Should you want a truly unique priest we are always delighted to custom make one for you. Whether it is from a tree in your garden, different wood combinations, mother of pearl inlays or brass initials we can accommodate your ideas.
